The Clinical Pediatric Nephrology fellowship is a unique, flagship program, offered wholly online. It is structured as 3 modules, 16 weeks each, including virtual workshops, webinars, Clinical case scenarios, MCQs and journal clubs. The program is accredited by the American Association of Continuing Medical Education (AACME). We are very pleased you have chosen to start the next stage of your career with us, with a massive investment to improve our resources for all our Pediatric Nephrology fellows and to recruit appropriately qualified national and international Pediatric Nephrologists to inform and deliver current up-to-date knowledge, to ensure that all we deliver is current, evidence-based, high quality and research connected.
We aim to give you a valuable and satisfying experience, with is a partnership between us as tutors and our fellows. This wholly online program will establish your peer support/learning via the online discussion group. You will learn things from us as well as from each other. Most importantly, you will also discover things for yourself. The Pediatric Nephrology Fellowship Program is delivered by Pediatric Nephrology experts from various reputable national and international programs to enhance the exposure of the fellows to different clinical experience and practice. Education is delivered in the form of online lectures, case-based discussions, critical appraisal of scientific papers and problem-solving exercises.
Clinical scenarios and real-life practical experiences are discussed online (synchronous) by experts in the field in live webinars and virtual workshops to enhance the learning experience and encourage engagement of our fellows. These synchronous interactive sessions will be recorded and posted to all fellows. The lectures, MCQs, journal clubs and clinical case scenarios are delivered in an asynchronous approach to overcome the challenges posed by time zone difference and maximize mutual and reciprocal engagement. These educational materials will be available 24/7 for all our fellows to navigate and study on a Learning Management System (LMS) through a smart digital learning platform.
